Information about Contracts

Everything starts with your paperwork.  If you don't know AND understand the content of the paperwork you are using - you shouldn't be using it.  READ and understand the paperwork ... the Contract, the Assignment, the Addendums, the Exhibits, etc.  If there is a blank line - why is it blank?  Is there anything missing from it?  Did you forget something. 

The BASIC contract for Real Estate includes the following information: 

1. Names of the parties involved. 

2. Identification of the Property. 

3. Purchase Price of the Property - or a clear understanding on how to calculate it - and method of payment. 

4. Specific Closing Date.  "On or before" a specific date is acceptable too.
