Apply for an EIN

If you need an EIN for your new Company, Corporation or Estate - here is where to create it online with the IRS. 

 O.C.G.A. Section 48-7-128 provides for income tax withholding at a rate of 3 percent on sales or transfers of real property and associated tangible personal property by NONRESIDENTS of Georgia.  If you reside in a state other than Georgia or your LLC is registered outside of Georgia - this applies to you.  Read more about it here from the Georgia Department of Revenue:

Legal notices (Foreclosures, Bankruptcies, Name changes, etc) are required to be published in the appropriate Legal publication  - AKA Legal Organ. Here is a list of MOST of them. 

There is a singular website that is a great start to see if a property is listed for Auction/foreclosure/sale.  ON OCCASION we have found that something being published in the County Legal Organ does NOT show up on here.  Thus ... please always check with the publication directly.
